400 ANOS DAS MISSÕES JESUÍTICAS GUARANIS

A arqueóloga Dra. Raquel Machado Rech (FOTO) destaca a importância histórica e o legado cultural dos 400 anos das Missões Jesuíticas Guarani no Rio Grande do Sul.

Entre outros assuntos, comenta sobre as novas ações promovidas pela iniciativa voluntária do grande projeto Missões, além de melhorias na Região – conquistadas por meio do recém criado Fundo Pró-Missões no Estado, e sobre o papel do Iphan na proteção do subsolo histórico das cidades missioneiras e como a arqueologia ajuda a reconstruir a narrativa da formação da região.

Raquel Rech também é Diretora da Arquel – Consultoria em Arqueologia, e responsável pelo Museu Arqueológico de São Luiz Gonzaga (MARQ).

Ela é reconhecida por atuar na valorização do patrimônio histórico e arqueológico, especialmente na região missioneira.
